On Tuesday, patrons at Pfeiffer Winery celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama, the first African-American to be elected President of the United States. The bash is one of thousands that occurred throughout the country.

The Junction City girls were unable to overcome shooting 18 percent from the field against the Marist Spartans on Jan. 16, falling 39-27. In their previous game on Jan. 13, the Tigers were able to hold off a late run by the Pleasant Hill to win 33-31.
